New Hexagon Site
The council have revealed new proposed plans for the Civic Centre area regeneration. As well as a new Civic Centre, the plans include a new town centre library and theatre in Hosier street, the site of the current market.
There will be further public consultation which will include a two-stage public exhibition in November/December 2007, and in January/February 2008, as well as liaison with interest groups, market traders and adjoining landowners.
