Planning Enforcement Breaches

This includes a new Planning Enforcement Policy. It explains that the majority of information is received from members of the public and asks that they record:

-the location of the site
-the alleged breach of planning control
-an indication of the harm caused

and where appropriate,

-the identity of the person/organisation responsible for the breach
-the date and time the alleged breach took place.

The policy states that a high priority is given to protected trees, listed buildings and conservation areas.

If the officers are not able to respond promptly to issues such as work outside of the authorised hours, we suggest that you ask your Ward Councillor to intervene on your behalf.
