Thames Valley Police
Reporting crimes and incidents
Police resource allocation is based on demonstrable need – i.e. crime and other reported incidents so Members are urged to formally report all incidents to the police. These reported incidents are reviewed frequently by the local police as they plan their activities and also to seek more precise information on crime perpetrators. It is often disappointing that no police acknowledgement or response occurs, but information supplied by the public is useful to policing activity.

Police Surgeries
First Monday of the month, from 5pm until 8pm, at Church House - between Waitrose and the archway to the car park.
These surgeries are an excellent opportunity to meet local police and to provide them with information on local issues.
There is no formal link between CADRA and the TVP, although the CADRA representative to the Safer Caversham Forum develops a working relationship with the police.
