Thames Water Consultations and Plans The Price Review.

The economic regulator for water, Ofwat, will review Thames Water's proposals and decide by how much bills should increase. This process is known as the water industry 'Price Review'.

Thames Water plans explain how they meet the requirements of legislation, provide water and wastewater services for a rapidly growing population, and address the challenges of climate change.

They put forward their long-term proposals to the year 2035 in a 25-year plan, Taking care of water, published last year. They have now published their draft Water Resources Management Plan in September 2009.

Click here for a letter to Thames Water from DEFRA in August 2009 which states states that Thames Water’s plan does not provide adequate justification for their preferred options and not enough details on some of the changes in their plan especially regarding household demand.
