The organisation was established over 40 years ago and has become a widely respected voice for the community north of the river. Our aim is to:
“preserve and enhance the quality of life in Caversham and the surrounding District.”

CADRA AGM: Tuesday May 6th 2008 - please come

Climate Change - Draft Proposals for review
After some consulation, questionnaires and workshops during the winter, the Council has developed a Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan which will inform the way they as a council tackle our emissions and adapt to any changing weather patterns connected to climate change. RBC Local Development Framework - updates for next few years
The Borough Council have been seeking input on any sites in Caversham and Emmer Green that would either make a good development site - maybe a site with a derelect building on it - and also any areas that you feel should be protected for either recreational, environmental or archaeological reasons. CADRA, in consultation with members and other local groups, has submitted recommendations for areas to preserve and potential development sites. Click here to learn more.
